I am excited to announce that Chapter 1 of my dissertation is published in the science journal Marine Ecology Progress Series! We found that both maternal size and the amount of food a female was given significantly affected maternal body condition and total reproductive output in captive Rosy Rockfish. Reproductive output included both the number of annual broods and annual realized fecundity. Warmer temperatures also allowed for broods to be produced more quickly. These results demonstrate that reproduction in these fish is dependent on their environment. A huge THANK YOU to all who were involved in making this study a success! Please reach out if you would like a copy of the article. Happy reading!
